Well, I am from Modesto so you can't really insult me more than I already have been by being born there. ;)
I was just meerly pointing out that not everyone from Modesto eats their meals out of
the back of a taco wagon or a 7-11.

I got to audit the beautiful Modesto office of my new firm last week, and let me tell you it was *so* exciting.

I went out of the hotel for my usual 3 mile walk and ran out of "downtown" several times. Not that anything was open, anyway. My senior asked several brokers about a great new restaurant (not sure how she heard about it), and none of the brokers had heard of it. We ate at a sports bar instead. I also ate at Fuzio, which was quite good for a chain (didn't know about the Olive Garden).

The tallest building in town is the Doubletree.

There's a giant parking structure across the street from the Doubletree and I can't believe it's ever filled.

It was eye-opening, really. Especially because, as the senior auditor for the Western Division, I'll probably get stuck with all the branches in the little bitty (and mentally littly bitty like Modesto) towns.

Being short is not a vice....but for all you ladies out there, just remember...

Once you've had a midget, you never go back.

"Once you've had a midget, you never go back."

Does that mean they never go back to a midget cause they weren't satisfied?
Wow, so I guess your one of the lucky midgets, huh? Mrs P'Lito did come back.

I would also say even though it is not a vice for me personally, I would guess there is
a midget vice out there in some group of people somewhere. ;)

I had to go to Modesto once for work about 6 years ago. It wasn't so bad. I went to this nice historical society located in an old house in the middle of park. I was just upset that I couldn't find any tasty tacos for lunch. I thought for sure I'd be able to get good tacos in Modesto. Modesto is not that bad- it's could be worse like Yuba City.

And Dina you should try Tower Cafe (next to Tower theater) when you go to Sacramento. It's off of Hwy 50 take the 15th St. exit. It's at 16th and Broadway. mmm....Malaysian Chicken sandwich. Also the birthplace of Tower Records.

Modesto has a TIKI bar and some good thrift store shopping! can't beat that!

that Malaysian Chicken sandwich sounds yum! If we have time on the way back maybe we'll stop there! we're actually going to Citrus Heights.
