Mon, November 7, 2005 - 10:55 AMAnd thank YOU for coming out and enjoying the music. Honestly, DECADE is a DJ's dream come true, and your enthusiasm is contagious.
I'm sure that Skip will be posting the full evening's setlists soon... but while we're waiting for that, here's an 'appetizer' - the '80s setlist:

I'm looking forward to seeing exactly what John, Andy T, Skip, and Candy played that night. There was some great stuff, and plenty of tracks that made me scratch my head and ask "what movie was THAT in?"
And... good God... a room full of people dancing to Meco's 'Star Wars'. That's going to stay with me for a while... -

Mon, November 7, 2005 - 11:32 AMyou know that shocked the heck out of me as well seeing people dancing to Star Wars. Who'd of thought? I had a really great time on Friday and I am glad everyone else seemed to enjoy themselves. I will also say thank you to all the other DJ's of the night. You guys played some really great music.
Thanks to Skip and Candy for keeping the night going. ;)

Re: Soundtrack night
Mon, November 7, 2005 - 12:14 PMDECADE would like to thak all of the awesome Guest DJs and all of the incredible people who come out and support our events. We couldn't and wouldn't want to do it without you.
We know that to people who haven't attended a DECADE event, the format might seem a little strange. You might think that there will only be one or two hours of music that you would be interested in. But, as all of you who attend know, it is really about fun, danceable music. We all have music collections that span time and styles, so why not dust off some of the stuff that has fallen by the wayside? It never fails that I hear some gem that has long been forgotten.
I love the fact that we can come up with these wacky ideas and get people into them. And, by "we", I mean everyone. DJs, the great crowd and the staff. Skip and I hope you have as much fun at the events as we do planning them!
Keep tuned to tribe for details on our next event.

An All 80's Battle to the Bloody End!
