A lovely sendoff! All the sets were great, and I was really sad I only got the hear the last half of Donimo's set. I did not dive into the cake for fears of a bad sugar crash, but, on a completely unrelated note, I had no idea Company B did any songs beyond "Fascinated." Who knew?

Pretty good. The place was packed and the crowd was in an upbeat mood. They cheered the band after each songs. The kids were pretty nervous and made a few mistakes in their solos, etc but I thought they did a good job pulling it all together. I thought they were very entertaining but hey, I'm extremely biased. Ian totally scored after the show. A group of teenage girls came up to him to chat him up and take photos with him. I think I need to give him the talk soon.

Where's the "(for Tomas)" after Huey Lewis? I REALLY enjoyed Donimo's and Lowlife's sets. Donimo's was like a history lesson - I really feel like I understand discopunk a little better now. And Lowlife's was pure unadulerated cheesy joy.
