Re: DJ Skip at Pop Roxx - Sat Feb 24
Mon, February 26, 2007 - 10:21 AMSo you were first in the rotation. We missed Pop Roxx due to the el crapolla weather, but we listened to the streaming audio from home and danced around in our PJs. Really. And in combining dancing with stretching, did some outragously dorky moves that we would never do in public. I even jotted down the songs I recognized, and wondered "Who the hell is playing Ace of Base and Madonna's 'Vogue' back-to-back?"
I'm also guessing, based on music played, that Shawn Slaughter went on after you (was 2nd in the rotation).... which means we would have missed the two DJs we were really interested in hearing had we left the house when we planned. So it's all for the best. Any chance you can post the schedule next time you guest at Pop Roxx?
Really like the Peter Bjorn and John and Dangerous Muse songs! Looking forward to hearing more of the archive this week. -
