Hi, I'm Stacey, I am a sadly infrequent attendee, too lame to drive down from yuppie-ville at times (or rather too cautious to drive home after those yummy raspberry cosmos...), but no less of a supporter in my heart! :)

I religiously attend just to sprint circles around that small guy with the funny hair.
I like to show off in front of his BEAUTIFUL family.............I just like him because he is SOOOOOOO short that my flailing arms do not smack him in the JAW.

Hey there folks. My name is Tomas Diablo, and I've only missed two Decades so far. One of them was during my honeymooon, so my beautiful bride and I have a valid excuse for that one.

I DJ every 4th Thursday at STRANGELOVE in the lower Haight, where the vibe is dark electro, industrial, new wave, and goth - beat-matched and blended into continuous sets. I really feel lucky to spin at Decade, because there's a lot more to me than the dark and evil stuff, and I get to "let my freak flag fly" at Decade. How freaky? I actually printed off the directions to the 'Macarena' and handed them out during one of my sets. Yeah... that freaky.

I also spin at Catalyst Cocktails a lot - often on Fridays I'll go on directly after live jazz and spin jazz, swing, and lounge for a while... transitioning into new wave, rock, and electro. If something else is happening that night, I get to "bridge the gap". It was actually a set I did at Decade - 1940's swing - that gave me the idea of following the live jazz to keep the jazz crowd around to buy another round of drinks.

Going to Decade is like visiting the twilight zone. Every hour on the hour you're transported to another moment in time. Yummy treats... the occasional contest... the coolest people... it's truly one of the greatest clubs I've ever been to.

A few nights before my first set at Decade, I had a nightmare. In my dream, I had just gotten into the DJ booth when I discovered that instead of new wave, all I had with me was bad '90s cheese, like Milli Vanilli, Paula Abdul, Vanilla Ice, and C&C Music Factory. It was the DJ's equivalent of showing up to school in your underwear. I was fairly freaked out by it, and mentioned it on the Decade tribe. Not long after, I was contacted and asked "how would you like to make your dream come to life?" And thus was born "Guilty Pleasures Night."

I went to my first decade last week......with my friends Alecia and Allison
we had a blast.....loved the retro feel to the bar...and even danced to a few tunes.
