"2-YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY"
DECADE DJ’s Skip, Candy, Tomas Diablo, and guest DJ’s Low-Life and Donimo, pick their favorite decades and genres for this night of dancing and celebration.

Midnight – Free Anniversary Party cake!
Help us celebrate 2 wonderful years of presenting the best DJ’s around playing the largest variety of music anywhere. Raise your glass in a midnight toast, as this will also be the last and final, DECADE. Candy and Skip are bringing DECADE to a grand end with this music and party blowout!

History 101- DECADE began with an event on March 25, 2005 at The Cherry Bar & Lounge (now Annie’s Social Club) in San Francisco, and continued there for four months. In July of ‘05, DECADE made the move to Catalyst Cocktails, where it has made its home ever since. DECADE was conceived and promoted by Candy and Skip (New Wave City).

9-10pm
1980’s – "ROOTS OF DISCOPUNK"
DJ Donimo (Shadowplay) shows his roots with a set of pre-Discopunk ditties that explain why his club Shadowplay is so popular. Expect to hit the dancefloor and rock out to Liquid Liquid, Gang of Four, ESG, A Certain Ratio and more.

10-11pm
2000’s – "ELECTROLICIOUS"
DJ Tomas Diablo (Strangelove, Rock This Town!) enters the 21st century and weaves together a set of his favorite music from the last 7 years. Expect to dance yer ass off to artists like the Knife, LCD Soundsystem, the Faint, MSTRKRFT, ASCII.disko, Lady Sovereign and still more from the decade with no name.

11-12am
1980’s – "DANCEFLOOR DIVAS"
DJ Low-Life (New Wave City, 1984) gets in touch with his feminine side and spins some hot spicy girl on girl action. Expect to hear dance hits from the likes of Shannon - Let the Music Play, Expose - Point of No Return, Pretty Poison - Catch Me (I'm Falling), Nena Cherry - Buffalo Stance and more. Girl power!

12-1am & 1am-2am
1950’s–2000’s – "THE BEST OF DECADE"
Your DECADE founders and DJ’s Candy and Skip reprise some of their favorite themes and songs from the last two years. Candy and Skip will take turns spinning three-song mini-sets that will be sure to have you dancin’ and signin’ and movin’ to the groovin’! And in the last half-hour, a tagteam one-song "Try to Top That" showdown!

Hostess Candy has sweet treats for you from every decade.

This is a bit bittersweet. Congrats on 2 years, but also sad that it's the last one.

      Good times...good times.

Thanks Skip and Candy for Decade. It was a good run while it lasted.

          Say, say my playmate
come out and play with me
          and bring your dollies three
          climb up my apple tree
          slide down my rain barrel
          into my cellar door
          and we'll be jolly friends
          forever more!

Sad shmad. That's one less day we have to see Tony.

            Ok ok...and vice versa.

            RIP, DECADE.

The Dead Collector - "Bring out yer dead."
[a man puts DECADE on the cart]
              Large Man - "Here's one."
The Dead Collector - "That'll be ninepence."
The Dead DECADE That Claims It Isn't - "I'm not dead."
              The Dead Collector - "What?"
Large Man - "Nothing. There's your ninepence."
The Dead DECADE That Claims It Isn't - "I'm not dead."
The Dead Collector - "'Ere, it says it's not dead."
Large Man - "Yes it is."
The Dead DECADE That Claims It Isn't - "I'm not."
The Dead Collector - "It isn't."
Large Man - "Well, it will be soon, it's very ill."
The Dead DECADE That Claims It Isn't - "I'm getting better."
Large Man - "No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment."
The Dead Collector - "Well, I can't take it like that. It's against regulations."
The Dead DECADE That Claims It Isn't - "I don't want to go on the cart."
Large Man - "Oh, don't be such a baby."

The Dead DECADE That Claims It Isn't - "I feel fine."
Large Man - "Oh, do me a favor."
              The Dead Collector - "I can't."
Large Man - "Well, can you hang around for a couple of minutes? It won't be long."
The Dead Collector - "I promised I'd be at Gossip. They've lost nine today."
Large Man - "Well, when's your next round?"
              The Dead Collector - "Thursday."
The Dead DECADE That Claims It Isn't - "I think I'll go for a walk."

The Dead DECADE That Claims It Isn't - "I feel happy. I feel happy."
[the Dead Collector glances up and down the street furtively, then silences the DECADE with his a whack of his club]
Large Man - "Ah, thank you very much."
The Dead Collector - "Not at all. See you on Thursday."
              Large Man - "Right."
